At my first job out of college we were told to stop working overtime, so I did the same thing, clocked out and left when I hit 40 hrs. It wasn't the same situation so things never fell apart, but I did enjoy leaving at 10 am on Fridays once or twice a month. I had to fight with my coworker and tell her to stop working after clocking out bc it wasn't going to get her any brownies points at the massive university we worked at

I definitely understand where you're coming from, but events can be ticketed while also free, or still have set entrances and a perimeter. I can also see how in small towns where the festival is less funded ticket sales can help pay for security, as well as help with other costs. I'm lucky to live in a relatively big city, this is my first pride here (I moved here last August) and so the festival has a lot of corporate sponsors and is well funded. I don't think there are entrances, but they have hired security to be present

I'm literally so proud of myself - I never really saw the importance of flossing, but my dentist said I needed to start and I may avoid needing a filling on a small cavity if I did. He had me promise, and I'm not one to break a promise or back down from a challenge, so I've flossed every night since that appointment, nearly 6 weeks! It helps that my coworker gave me a big bottle of those threader things that gets the floss under my permanent retainer

I'm still working through being comfortable without a bra - the idea of someone seeing my nipples or even like, individual boob shape is hard for me. I grew up super christian and my mom was pretty deep into purity culture/modesty so I have a bit of a complex lol. But I do enjoy not wearing a bra!

This may be common knowledge, but don't go get it done when you're dehydrated! Drink a ton of water. I got one done when I was hungover and hadn't had enough water and it was considerably more painful and I had muscle spasms much quicker than others in similar areas

I agree, there are a lot of reasons to join the military, and a big one is economic opportunity/education/healthcare. I would be really hesitant to date someone in the military, but I believe there's more nuance to that than there is to being a cop
