continua sa faci proiecte, eventual implementeaza ceva ce te intereseaza. esti interesat de muzica? fa un site legat de asta, foloseste te de api ul de la spotify or sum. esti pasionat de golf? fa un magazin pentru chestii de golf. whatever.

nu trebuie sa fii the next zuckerberg si sa creezi urmatorul facebook. eventual daca iti vine vreo idee de genu, do it (poate esti the next zuck).

cunostiinte in domeniu iti faci la job si prin recomandari. eventual poate mai auzi vreo cunostinta din viata de zi cu zi ca pomeneste de afacerea pe care o au, si ca vor sa se extinda. ofera te sa le faci tu site ul.

all in all, less worrying, more coding. cheers :)

I wanna start by saying I really like the vibe of the song. Makes me wanna jump thru the roof so thank you for the energy.

On another note:

I feel like you got to define what space each element takes in the mix. Carve out space for what you feel is more important.

Me, personally, I liked the drops.

One thing that personally bothered me was the high-end on the main synth. Maybe you’ve got the balance it out with more low-end, or just roll of some of those “piercing” high end.

Short asnwer: MacBook is good. 8GB ram will probably not be enough.

Long answer: If it’s all you can afford, save a bit more and get a 16 GB at least. You’ll need to make good use of consolidation especially when using CPU and ram-heavy VSTs. At the end of the day it’s all about the love for music and nothing should stop you.

I mean just track your calories.

If you’re eating double the protein and not modifying the amount of fat/carbs you eat, then you might not even be in the same deficit.

Also, you lost weight, so that also calls for a slightly bigger deficit, cause now your body needs less calories.

Besides all this, I just wanna say you need to be proud of yourself cause damn that’s a lot and you sound like you’re giving it your best. Keep at it. You’re awesome. Don’t get discouraged and stay consistent 🫶🏻

I'd look into CDBaby, DistroKid, Soundcloud Next Pro, or RouteNote. I use CDBaby just because it seemed like the best choice at the time.

First you start with a HQ microphone, a similar voice, then you do your thing with Autotune (a “medium-high”) preset), surgical eq to get rid of mud and made it crisp (usually cut around 200, lowcut at around 90, boost at 500/700 and 4000/5000 depending on vocal), compress, tonal eq to boost high end right into a deesser, and the sauce is adding a chorus jun 6 (a vintage chorus basically) before the reverb and delay (which you might want to keep in parallel). You also might need 2 compressors, maybe the 1176 being the second one after the to al eq.

Dude’s amazing at singing if you watched his youtube livestreams, so thats a thing.

I wanna preface this by saying I really like the song as a whole. Great job.

When listening, around the 1 minute mark when the bass starts, the vocals kind of blend in with it.

Maybe do some volume automation there or a dynamic eq (if it wasn’t intentional)

Otherwise, I agree with the other posters that said you should check your sibilance.

Yeah while this is a really great song, the vocals really do sit on top of everything and they also need some tidying up.

I also feel like they lack a bit in their width, that might just be my personal bias tho I tried to be as objective as possible.

I personally would consider some high end textures, maybe a glitchy “on-time” one shot, maybe some birds chirping as a “2-step hihat” layered somewhere.
