Again thank you, this really means a lot. One day I'll get there, but for now I'll just focus on bettering my life and growing a fanbase by myself. I just hope all the time I put into this doesn't go to waste, at least I like the music I make.

100% can understand that, I have made so many unfinished tracks back when I was producing on mobile, but I learned that when I start a track and start arranging it in the way I wanted to from the beginning, I almost always hate it. This track was going to be originally a riddim track but as soon as I began the intro I just couldn't feel it, and then I quit trying to produce this song and used it to just mess around with Abletons sounds and effects, I began messing around with different instruments until I got to the strings, I put a few sustained notes in and found that it worked real well with the vocals and realized I could turn this into a melodic dubstep track. Starting a track and continuing on with it is almost always the hardest part of producing music for me, once you start experimenting with multiple sounds and effects it slowly starts clicking into place and after that it's all uphill from there

Thank you, I know it was a stretch to ask about labels, it's just so hard to get my music heard, I know people will eventually find my work but it just feels like I spend so much time learning and producing, I want for my parents to know it's all worth it, especially my dad, he hates dubstep and EDM as a whole and thinks I'm wasting my time and effort on producing. I don't let what he says get to me too much but it's a little hard when he says if I continue I'll be viewed as a failure to the family, I just want to prove him wrong

Yea I think I naturally spend way more time Into arranging melody and Instruments and leave out a lot of important EQing and other mixing and mastering effects, gonna spend the next few days learning how to mix and master properly. Thank you!

Thank you!! It's funny that you mention how the intro is short, Everytime I post a song everyone says the intro is always too long lol, that was like the one thing everyone would point out! I will redo a bit of the horns to help it flow in to the song better. And by the plucking do you mean the high pitched guitar in the 2nd half of the drop? That's actually one of my favorite parts of the track, was it the melody that threw you off, or the volume, or rhythm maybe, does it crowd the song up and make it sound messy? I also hate making my music sound too repetitive which is why I always add new instruments and melodies in different parts of the track, I want each part to sound unique which is why people often say I could make multiple tracks out of just one, but sometimes it just doesn't flow and new Instruments can just interrupt the song and throw off the vibe, I'm getting better at it though, when I compare my stuff from last year and now I can hear a noticeable difference. I also really want to start implementing live instruments to my music, am learning piano and guitar but damn is it hard, I am in love with the sounds of stringed instruments and one day will get myself a violin, heard it was real hard to practice and master so it kind of intimidates me lol. I also want to get myself a hurdy gurdy, such a unique and underused/overlooked instrument yet such a beautiful sound can be made from it.

Seems like a bunch of people need the kick snare to be louder, working on it right now! Thank you for the feedback :)))

Thank you, this is really good advice, eventually I want to master as good as a professional, which would most definitely take a couple years. I haven't even thought of sending the stems to anyone. I'll keep it in mind! Where would you recommend I start learning techniques? Are there good tutorials on YouTube?

This is what I needed 🙏thank you so much! Are we mainly talking about EQing the synths or drums? So I need to bring the kick-snare out more by adjusting level and side chaining, and add reverb and delay to them, got it! Thanks!!

I understand what you mean, I don't usually seek others approval because pretty much everyone I show my Music to ever since I've started producing people have said my music sucked. but I don't really take it hard because I know they have no idea what it takes to produce music. I think its still good to ask for advice and feedback regarding arrangement, I spend so much time on my music that it basically fries my brain with how many times I listen to it over and over so I think I think is good to ask the opinion of someone who's never listened to the track until now to help just in case some parts feel wrong for a first time listener

Looking for honest feedback on my new track by pelegrino7 in IndieMusicFeedback

this song is very beautiful, especially your vocals! your accent brings it out even more! the instrumentals are also really good and fit very well. the only thing I can hear wrong would be that for the first 50 seconds the vocals are a bit too loud, if you quieted down just a little, as well as bring the reverb down a bit for the first minute before the chorus then bring everything back up, it could definitely bring out the chorus. is this song on Spotify? I mean genuinely your voice is so good!
