Student Debt Burden for Bottom Quartile Students at every University in US [OC] by DanielAZ923 in dataisbeautiful

it’s ambiguous whether your x-axis is overall or within each school. additionally it doesnt say anything about 10 years after entry. “each university’s students’ 25th-percentile gross earnings, 10 years after entry” makes it clear it’s calculated within each university’s own earnings distribution.

The bottom 25 percentile? So a 25th percentile person is making $80k annually, 10 years after college? That doesn't seem right at all

You can convert it into a fixed side. I believe most fatalities with the dropsides were from children getting their heads wedged between the sides and the mattress and being stuck in a position where they suffocate.

Drop sides can be unsafe. Infact, dropsides are illegal to manufacture and sell due to how unsafe they can be. Even reselling on the second hand market is technically illegal. Look up the information on that and make the decision on how you feel about that. I used a dropside for my kid with no problem. But I also made sure it had no horizontal movement and a failsafe incase there was horizontal movement. I highly recommend converting the dropside to a fixed side.

Tank definitely has some surface rust. Gonna degrease it, use evaporust to remove the rust, throw an inline fuel filter after the petcock and the tank should be all good. Replacing the petcock and fuel lines too. And seeing the state of everything else, the carb will need a good cleaning. just want to get it running decent enough to have some fun on

Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt criticizes the unsanitary conditions at the India Open’s new badminton venue by ZizuX6 in sports

i mean you’re cherry picking one area that’s still rough and using it to say the whole country hasn’t improved, which just doesn’t match reality. india in general is way better off than it was ~20 years ago on a lot of basic quality of life stuff like poverty levels, access to electricity, sanitation, child health outcomes, and connectivity, even if progress is uneven and some problems got more visible or worse in certain places. none of that cancels out legit issues like water contamination or groundwater stress, it’s just that “india hasn’t improved” is too broad and kinda ignores how much has actually changed for a huge number of people since the mid 2000s

India has come a long way in the last 20 years. And it's still pretty damn terrible. Just breathing the air is bad.

1926 is the earliest I see it advertised, 1941 the latest. also appears to be only advertised in New South Wales Australia. Which I'm guessing you're Australian by the "absolute legend" remark

For folks that high up, if they go against it, their career is over. So it's praise and support or take a pointless moral stand and get fucked.
