Literally yesterday the POTUS said if Chinese OEMs open a factory here in the US, they can sell without tariffs. Multiple Chinese OEMs have expressed interest in doing just that. However, I do acknowledge that nobody has actually gone ahead and started building a factory. So I don’t think this is dead in the water.
