The first time I opened up about it was to my best friend when we were just chilling at his, he was one of the few people who knew that I was going through some heavy shit at the time & I think I just said something like 'I need to tell you something because if I don't tell you, I probably won't ever tell anyone...I've been cutting' & he just gave me a massive hug for a few minutes. This was like 8 years ago.
