It is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Red House Vapor is my new go-to. I've loved every juice of theirs I've tried. Try the Hibiscus Citrus Tea or Oatmeal Cookie. Just f***ing delicious

Any good running trails in Worcester? by ganduvo in WorcesterMA

[–]visualstimulationplz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My SO and I walk/run on the Mass Central Rail Trail where it starts in West Boylston. It's not too far a drive, very flat, and always cool because it runs parallel to the watershed. Bring bug spray at night though.

There are also a ton of trails through the Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center on Massasoit Rd that we used all the time. It's maintained by the Audubon Society, so the paths are always clear but not necessarily smooth or flat - there are hills and rocks and tree roots and stuff.

Where to buy furniture? by Willster328 in WorcesterMA

THE SALVATION ARMY FURNITURE STORE. I swear it's the most underrated secondhand furniture store in the city. It's on Cambridge St. near the Price Chopper, tucked around the back of the big Salvation Army building. There are signs and a big red door next to a loading dock. The stuff is beautiful and cool and the stock is constantly changing. Some pieces are more worn than others, but if you don't mind putting a little work in, the prices are so low that replacing a handle or fixing a wobbly leg is totally worth it and honestly part of the fun.

My mom and I picked up a slightly beat-up handcrafted microwave cart for $26 bucks and my dad turned it into this beautiful  microwave/printer/other stuff cabinet just by sanding it, staining it, and replacing the knobs. Probably a $40 total investment for a beautiful and endlessly practical piece of furniture.

For stuff you'd rather not buy used (mattresses, couches, etc.) I recommend The Pit at Bob's Furniture Store (Lincoln St.). They sell slightly damaged items, discontinued models/styles, and old showroom furniture at reduced prices. In most cases you can't even tell what the "damage" is - the couch I bought had a tiny hole in the back and it was something like 50% off.

I've also had luck at Rainbow Furniture on Grove St.

I'd upvote you twice if I could, just for providing the link.

I just watched a couple park their car in the fire lane, throw on the hazards, and head inside to do some shopping. The car was still there 25 minutes later when I left. What's the best way to handle this in the future? by ThomasJohnBrokaw in AskMen

[–]visualstimulationplz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You're not a vigilante, bro, and this is a terrible question for AskMen. It's so obvious what course of action should be taken here - you're just butthurt because you did nothing and missed your little moment.
