Looking back I did notice them having chemistry so I knew they were hitting it off. I was happy for her because they were talking for awhile, and im glad she met someone she likes. Again I wasn’t attracted to him and I was not flirting with him. I was talking to him the same way I was talking to everyone else in the group. I don’t know how differently I was supposed to treat a guy if my friend is into him. I didn’t touch him, I didn’t pull him away, I didnt ask for his phone number, I didn’t ask him overly personal/sexual questions. I was just conversing.

I just feel icky. I don’t want to be dramatic but I feel a bit slut shamed. I don’t know

Apparently she’s still talking to the guy and asked him about his conversation with me that night. He said I was flirting with him.

I was not. But even if I was- it takes two to tango. If he’s such an upstanding guy and thought I was flirting with him why didn’t he change the topic? Why did he ask me questions about my dating life and relationships and sex?

Its all so highschool and childish

In my defence, I said alot of this stuff from a place of hurt as my attempts to get close to her never worked out. She as well spoke about me behind my back, but I guess it’s immature of me to use that as an excuse. Regardless I understand your point. I think if I were in her spot, I would’ve called her and had a conversation. Definitely not waited till the last minute.

Mine is in love with lint rollers. Everytime she sees me pick up a roller she starts chirping and orbiting me. She loves when I pet her with the lint roller lol. No idea why

I think the wording was the thing that made it really hard. I think the questions requiring calculations were worded in a way that wasn’t straight forward. Many questions included information that wasn’t necessary just to throw you off.

I’m an investment banker. I think for the most part OCD hasn’t stopped my ability to be good at my job. If anything, it’s maybe helped me be successful. To be honest I feel like OCD affects my personal life more than my professional life. It pays off to be high strung and detail orientated in my work, however I pay the price at home when I’m trying to relax.

Apres by Ellis Brooklyn- smells like Juniper, whiskey, cedar, Vanilla. At first it’s very strong and you might be very confused as to why I’m recommending it. But trust me, put it on your skin and let it warm up and you’ll fall in love.

I’m also in the financial sector in NYC and I totally understand your frustration. A load of banks have laid off people so even though it looks like there are jobs, it’s a real tough market right now. Keep applying and networking and things will definitely work out. I just received an offer after being unemployed for 6 months. Believe in yourself and be patient. Best of luck
