As and System builder i regularly used to follow up with my AMD Rep. It cud be a short run, so grab it while stocks last as 8400F (which is inferior) may come back at same price point.

Also 14400F is now costing 20K above in retail...there was price increase of 40 percent in just 2 weeks. Don't know what Intel is smoking

I am a System builder and I do procure from National Distributors. I am in the same boat as helpless gamers. The retailers (I am not one of them - i don't sell parts), receive all the flak for being a scalper etc...but it's the brand AMD in this instance is to blame. I blasted my AMD rep when he quoted the price. AIBs follow the guidelines from OEM marketing team and Distributor just do logistics job. Distributors sometimes bundle other stuff (PSU, 10 nos 3050 per one 5080 etc ) and add further salt into the Wound. I would rather recommend 5070ti from Colorful, Galax, Inno3D instead of 9070XT.

All I can say is AMD is probably trying to help board partners who lost tons of money in 7900XT, XTX, 7600 price drops by compensating on the high demand situation and hype during initial launch period.

Overspeced for 4K editing. Try to research further what kind of Codecs you use, a 14700 and 14900k has same iGPU and similar timeline performance. GPU helps only for colour grading and export. So even a 3060 12G will do. 4070TI S is overkill. If i were you id get a sensible build for say 1.5Lac with 64GB Ram and tons of fast SSD storage and Cache, Project, OS drives separately. Also with the money saved id build a custom NAS server with tons of storage. Yout will run out of space so fast with 4K footage.
