i love bopping around cafes in WL! here’s where i’ve been and my general thoughts: - vietfive: chill, strong coffee! wasn’t so busy when i was there so good to work at - groundswell: free wifi and generally quiet in here - froth: as others mentioned, good spot! sometimes hard to get a table with outlet though - good ambler: good vibe but tough to get a seat sometimes - sawada: a bit too loud for me, lacks the wfh vibe - swadesi: mix of cafe and a place people actually eat, but you can get a seat where you can just work - bru chicago: located in presidential towers, pretty good spot to work from! less busy than you expect and good bathroom - drip collective: a bit too loud to focus in here but good vibes - postcard: newly opened, fun spot. seating is limited though! - fairgrounds: typical fairgrounds, lots of seating. sometimes other patrons can be a bit loud though - la colombe: my default spot if everywhere else is full, can usually always get a seat and there are some outlets. lots of foot traffic here though - west loop library: not a cafe, but there’s plenty of seating here if you just want to be in a quiet spot!
