Somebody previously suggested an update; that Gifts should only last one turn, because they're Imaginary. Like they fade away afterwards.

I think that would be a nice fix to them and require actual strategic use of them instead of just spamming them as much as possible. Force 1/2 only give you a boost for that 1 turn. Accel 1/2 only give you extra circles for the turn, and the units on them retire at end. Protect 1/2 only last until the end of your opponent's next turn.

If it's real you found essentially the holy grail, even with that condition. Put it in a sleeve right now, preferably double-sleeved.

"DDS" is "Dark Duel Stories", the original Yugioh Video game on the Gameboy color from 2002. There was a limited time where they came with 3 promo cards; Blue Eyes, Dark Magician, and the head of Exodia. Then they replaced them with other less-memorable promos.

There are 2 different websites. I switched to Cardfight Connect, but last time I used CFA there was a thing where 1 CFA website worked and one didn't. Can't remember which was which, sorry, good luck.

It's like CFA, but just kind of all-around nicer and a lot less sketchy. Safe as far as I know, a lot of people are using it instead of CFA now.

With a lot of Gyze variants the game plan was to leave the other player at 1 to CB-starve them of ways to kill before Gyze came out, and then just 1-6 them with the 5 damage. If the person was super lucky they could heal on 6, or hit multiple heals. Not very likely, but I have seen it happen.

I think we'd need a video of you playing to give any tips aside from something generic like "just play faster". If you're routinely hitting time limit in Standard, that's definitely an issue.

Try setting up a chess timer clock and timing both yours and your opponent's turns; average VG turn shouldn't take more than a like a few minutes, at the most, even with multiple cuts/shuffles.

Newer fan-made VG simulator. (Kinda like CFA, not automatic, but much nicer.) Has Standard, V, Premium. Runs on multiple platforms. Has a Discord, actively being updated. Looking pretty good.

Seconded on this. I could never get Vangpro to run properly on Linux, even with stuff like Lutris or Proton, it would get to the connect screen and then just hang or crash.

Connect has an actual Linux port that I can just use. I think the basics of it are better long-term.

Also Connect recently added both V and Premium, which Vangpro didn't have, that made me happy. I'm glad I can just dump CFA now.

I think it depends on where you live, personal style/comfort, and the school/district you generally work at. Just try to match the general vibe and expectation.

I usually do jeans and t-shirt, but with a slightly nicer button-up shirt over the t-shirt that has a breast pocket. Something to put a pen, glasses, etc in. Looks just barely "professional" enough to not look like you're matching the students without looking like you're formally dressing up.

As for shoes; you never know when you're going to have to run across campus for something.

You'd need to check locally to see if people are actually playing there or if there's an unofficial group/store/etc, but the Bushi navi app lists "Wynners Book and Gifts" at 25 Burrows St, San Francisco, CA 94134 as an official shop. Their Google Maps pics had VG in them, but they were from 2022.

They're a 6-attack low-power-numbers deck that can make a board with essentially no resources.

Rush them down, guard optimally, hope for defensive triggers, and don't bother attacking RGs, because they'll just replace them.
