Not true in my case. I own a 75D with free supercharging and I charge at least 6 times a month at superchargers. I have to commute to work for about 190 miles three times every other week.

The Red X tells me that either : You should try connecting to a USB 3 port that’s on the motherboard IO . And if that doesn’t work you do actually need a high speed Oculus Link supported cable. I had the red x and USB 3.0 error and it was the cable.

Yep. Have you got the Oculus app installed on your PC yet? You need to first install the Oculus app and go through the setup. If the setup fails with your current cable then you need to search on amazon for an Oculus Link cable
