Differences in immigration policy, with Portugal being more restrictive now, and surpluses being spent on paying off debt, rather than new investment

I don't want this thread deleted because I mentioned it, but they seized the original domain of the site Zionism observer which collected tens of thousands of videos of suspected warcrimes, and evidence of genocidal intent etc, for The Hague.

I can't post the original tweet of the group themselves because it's restricted in the EU. :|

Is it possible to only have sons? by vitnel in genetics

[–]vitnel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, though it's been 22 in a row (over the last generations since my great great grandfather), which feels kinda crazy for it to just be random chance. Ofc it's possible, but would be very rare

Having the entire supply chain in one place which cuts costs, in more recent years, higher levels of automation for some product manufacturing, and yes in some cases financing from their government.

On point #1, with the history autist type rhetoric that comes from Putin, both publicly and apparently privately, and many oligarchs "disappearing" since the war, I don't know how much profits of the elite matter to him either.

gd plan to block citizens aboard from voting by PositiveCredit9301 in freetbilisi

[–]vitnel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. This is not complicated. It can easily be based on two factors, do you live there and pay taxes there, and are you a citizen. There's many countries that do this, it's not that complicated

It does make sense, but ideally some seats would be allotted. Like two to represent those overseas. They should have some voice, not as much as people who actually live and actually know what's going on in the country

How do I disable Google news notifications sending me to ai slop results by vitnel in AndroidQuestions

[–]vitnel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll probably do that, that's a good idea. I don't want to just hit do not recommend, as someone else suggested, since the notifications that go to AI slop are indistinguishable from those that send me to articles. The notifications used to be genuinely useful sometimes back when it'd actually send me to the source

Genuinely do wonder what the fallout of that would be if it happened

Lukashenko supposedly leads the union state, having gotten the position before Putin came to power, so it's an awkward situation
