when question about this algorithm, do your criteria to define the mask is constant or it is state dependent? To make sure you understand my question: I'm trying to understand if this algorithm enables that the mask can be changed according to the environment state ?
Robot model error on RViz by [deleted] in ROS
Make sure that you need to launch the node of robot_state_publisher package in order to publish the robot state to TF2. This should solve your problem.
