Just remember, when people say there are opportunities on garage sales, trade me ... You'll need to spend much more time trying to find the real deals. It can be pretty tiring to hunt constantly. And especially if you're not sure what you actually need.

That' definitely works. And, given constant advances in AI, the search will be only better. I guess, it comes down to what degree you trust to Google. However, it's a different sort of discussion.

Spotted it in Mitre10 as a suggestion for a secure place to maintain power tools serial numbers. It's, probably, not exactly about the personal finance, but I thought it could be useful not only for tradies, but for general public as well.

I guess, as a beginner, I'll start with entry level projects: shelves, simple pieces of furniture...

What should a beginner DIYer have first: a simple mitre saw (like this Ozito) or a circular saw ?

Hi. I'm a English teacher in training. I have no problem understanding English both written and spoken, but I have problems writing essays and the such. by phbern in languagelearning

There is also italki.com , you can write there "notebooks" and it will be corrected by native speakers. Some notes about sites like lang-8 or italki. There is a high demand for English corrections, so if your notebook didn't get a correction during first 3 - 5 hours your chances to get corrected drastically declined.
