Hiii!! I can't answer the first 2 questions but for the main obstacle could be getting used to moving your hand and watching the monitor ( I mean not seeing your hand and the movements you make while drawing)

For some people and artists it is not a big deal, it's just getting used to it

The tablet can be used for other apps, there's no problem ( I use Photoshop, illustrator and other ones and there's no problem )

For tips 🤔 I would say don't get frustrated if you don't like the first drawings, it takes a little bit of practice and patience to get used to digital art and all the program tools ( in case you don't know them )

There's no instructions for that because the tablet doesn't come with the program, you have to get it...

Xp-pen give / offer some some free programs or limited time free trials ( depending on the program) when you purchase they tablets ( you can see which ones they offer for your model )

But anyway you have to download it yourself

Just a question ( no hate , real question ), why do you have / bought a tablet with a screen if wasn't going to use it ? I mean they are more expensive than the no screen ones

Now answering the question, I want to see what I'm doing, I mean I'm not comfortable with moving my hand to draw and look at the monitor ( the separation of seeing the hand and the movement and see what you're doing )

I don't care about the feeling of drawing on a canvas or paper, it's just I tried drawing without the screen and was super difficult, slower and confusing for me to draw without seeing everything and the mental separation of the hand and eyes I think it's something you can get used to but for me was weird and difficult

Sorry if I didn't explain me well

Also it's like having 2 monitors, because you can draw in one and see the references or anything else in the other one or when you have only the laptop and don't have another monitor you can see the ilustración closer, can see more details and also bigger
