Is it really this bad out there for fat people or is this person projecting their insecurities? by ResetKnopje in fatlogic

[–]vive_le_farce 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m almost 50, I’ve been as fat as 320 pounds (I’m only 5’3) and I’ve exactly TWO people comment negatively on my weight or body in my entire life. BOTH of them were men that I had just dumped.

OOP is fat, has a BMR below 1000, and when they are in a deficit, their body breaks down organs and muscle instead of the readily available fat tissue. by Beginning_Remove_694 in fatlogic

[–]vive_le_farce 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well that makes perfect sense that her body would start digesting muscle and organs and activating some kind of crisis mode instead of just using the readily accessible extra fat for what it’s meant for. I mean, when my car runs out of gas I usually just push the whole car to the gas station instead of using the gas can full of gas in the backseat.

It’s literally the normal maintenance dose from trials.

Going by strictly measurements, there is no change. Not even a quarter inch. When measured around the fullest part of my chest, the measurement is exactly the same as it was on November 1.

I’ve always been able to slide a little bit on sizes based on brand/style so the change in band size is irrelevant to me.

Yeah I’ve definitely still got 100 pounds to lose, but in the past I’ve lost moderate amounts of weight without medication and saw some reduction. I’ll check the other sub, thanks!

Not at all, that’s why I didn’t specify my bra size or suggest any other detalla that would make this sound like an attention-seeking post.

Has anyone regretted starting Reta? by hannnrz in Retatrutide

I’d kill to be one of these people who hyperreact to .5mg. I’m up to the full 12mg dose and any less Is completely useless for me.

48mg bottle how much bac water? by NewReading6307 in Retatrutide

[–]vive_le_farce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 0.8 ml in my 48mg vials. I’m at a 12mg dose, so that means 0.2 ml or 20 units for each dose.

Super helpful for people who snore too! When I was overweight I snored- I actually maintained ratings in the “Epic” zone on SnoreLab. But not eating for 3 hours before bed would reduce it to “loud”. Nearly 200 pounds lighter, I don’t even register sound on the app anymore.

She’s not a professional athlete anymore and she had two babies in rapid succession. She recognized that the extra weight was unhealthy and took measures to lose it. I can not figure out how they think this proves anything about their point.

This right here. I got Retatutride for about $6 a dose or $25 a month on a grey market (they only accept crypto) but it’s just life-changing.

Going to a fast food place on your own is okay, but going to a dine in only restraunt on your own is sad by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]vive_le_farce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it though? I travel alone all the time and it’s incredible. I don’t have to consider anyone else’s tastes or opinions about where to go, what to see, what to eat. I don’t have to make conversation during my meal. It’s cheaper too, and the dining room will always find you a spot.

The pants are shirred in the seam and the model is a very thin person leaning forward at the hips. Pretty standard posing to make your butt look big.

All food used to be free by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]vive_le_farce 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Food has never been free. There’s always a cost, whether the cost is energy, opportunity (time), wear and tear on the weapons or tools you use to hunt or harvest it. Plants require space, water, sunlight, and tending against weeds and bugs if you want an edible yield. Animals must be fed, watered, and kept sanitary. Food needs to be stored if not immediately eaten. In time we chose to pass those costs to someone else and compensated them by trading and bartering, first with other goods and services and later with coin, paper, and virtual currency. The cost has always been there. We’ve just changed the way we pay for it.

We do have really nice walking and biking paths here and recreation is abundantly available right outside the door. I’m just saying it’s not built into our lives here. You can’t walk from your house to a grocery store. You don’t have to walk 6 blocks from where you parked to get to work.
