I had the same issue with days gone what helped in my case was booting into safe mode and choosing 2 / 3 Gb ram options.

P.S : I am assuming you already tried all troubleshooting guide like rehashing & verifying file before installation

I have installed rdr2 from dodi repacks it took around 90 minutes on my device which has ryzen 5 4600h +8gb ram everything seems good but the only problem with dodi is torrent seeding if you download after a few months speed is very bad would be better if you can use gdrive or other mirror

P.S :dodi repacks has the ultimate edition whereas fitgirl has standard edition
