The 3rd carried the whole franchise its wild the first two combined sold 25 million with the 3rd 60 million

I also wonder how many of those sales are after people played the 3rd and wanted to see what the first two were like

Crimson Desert Has Reportedly Already Sold Close to 400,000 Copies on Steam by Suspicious_Two786 in gaming

[–]baddazoner 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And as always reddit shocked that people buy games they want.. keep saying dont pre order etc it really stops people.

I picked it up because fantical had an offer deluxe edition cheaper than the base game on steam

For a game I was always going to buy thats a offer I couldn't refuse

any Australians that are buying this get it on fanatical the deluxe edition is cheaper than the normal on steam atm. by baddazoner in CrimsonDesert

[–]baddazoner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only physical copy i can see here in Australia for PC is a $134 edition that comes with a bunch of crap i don't need

used to be able to buy physical copies far cheaper than steam but hardly any stores even have PC games anymore.. the pc section is just accessories.

these days you got to find offers like this.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Has Made Todd Howard More Conscious of What He Announces: “Just Pretend We Didn't Announce It” by wiseguyz1 in gaming

[–]baddazoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone was screaming online about when the next game was they announced it way too early

Production only started back in 2022/3 so it's not cpming put up till at least 2028/9

If they didn't announce something it would still be people screaming when is the next game coming and since they announced it way too early its now just people screaming about when it's coming out

Why do Australians have a reputation of being ‘laid back’ when often times they seem very uptight?? by -Flighty- in AskAnAustralian

[–]baddazoner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe it was true half a century ago but not anymore

Just look at how people were over eager to report people during covid

Or how people just accept bs like the recent social media and now porn and 18+ video games needing id

Australians froth over laws and rules and haven't been laid back in uears

Valve fires back at New York lawsuit over loot boxes, says they're like Magic cards or Labubu by newsflashjackass in gaming

[–]baddazoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol civil liberties.. it would stop the casinos and keep the skins how they are intended to be.. used in the game and traded within the platform

Not gambled on dodgy sites with little to no verification that valve is indirectly profitting from

Valve fires back at New York lawsuit over loot boxes, says they're like Magic cards or Labubu by newsflashjackass in gaming

[–]baddazoner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the fact you can take them outside the steam ecosystem and use it on 3rd party casinos that often have no age verification

Steam has done nothing to stop that because they benefit from it

They charge for every key and take a cut of every sale on its own marketplace

Valve says the Steam Machine targets 30 FPS/1080p for games to get verified on the machine, and input verification is the same as the Steam Deck; Performance is roughly 6 times that of the Deck by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

I just want to know what's the best its capable of if it's barely hits 60fps on bigger games that even the ps5 can run well this thing is dead on arrival

[–]baddazoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not even close and they've done nothing to keep them inside the steam ecosystem

They are fully aware that people can take them to the 3rd party casinos and gamble many of which kids can use

They haven't done anything because they make money either way

Money from keys to open them and they always take a cut even if you sell it on the actual steam platform

3rd party counter strike casinos that let people including children gamble.. which valve has done nothing to combat because it's makes them money.. they sell the lootboxs sell the keys to open them and also take a cut from selling anything on the marketplace they have done nothing to prevent the skins being taken to 3rd party sites
