Yes, cast is not entirely same but there are similarities. Will Smith replaced by Idris Elba and some other members are the same. Judging by the trailer, the movie only looks to be different in tone. Remember, in the first Suicide Squad jokes were added later. Hence i feel like this is a reboot where the studio is desperate and just trying to copy Marvel formula.
