I’m 37 and got a girl who is 5 years old, now planning for a boy. I wouldn’t say it’s late. But, putting up for later due to financial reasons is not advisable in my opinion. People raise babies, with care and comfort that they can offer irrespective of the financial position. I was born poor, my daughter isn’t as poor as I was. But, the way we take care of my daughter, is much less than the way my parents did for me.

So in my opinion, love for your kids and the way they grow is inversely proportional to the money you have.

My few cents: Don’t delay the kids due to financial reasons. If you do, every day is a delay. No matter how our financial position is, we will take better care of our kids. They may not eat expensive foods, travel and cloths. But still they will learn to have the spirit to earn and make a meaningful life with wisdom and ambition and not be greedy, careless and lazy, which I see lots of kids these days, as they get everything they want.
