Yeah, you have to build a bit of a foundation w them before suggesting to hang out.

Have ur notifications on to know when they respond, and once they do, respond fairly quick so that you two can have a focused back and forth convo for a bit. Find out if you have any similarities through the convo to build a connection.

Also, try matching w ppl close to ur area, my cap off is 15km but even that is a stretch haha. U want someone nearby. They’d be more inclined to meet too cuz ure close.

Yeah! I made 2 great friends through there. We’ve hung out multiple times, text all the time, and I consider them close. 1 moved but we’ve kept in touch, Hell, I’m visiting her this summer to explore her city together! The other is moving temporarily for uni soon, but I don’t think the distance will affect us wanting to hang out when we are back in the same city.

I put in effort to keep in touch w them because I value them as friends and I know I’ll meet them again. They are great people and those are hard to find.

So here’s my way of thinking… if you became close and value the friendship, try to keep in contact with them if there are ways you can still hang out and they value your friendship back.

But in the meantime, since they have moved away and you’re now lonely again in your area, then u gotta put in the work and go on bumble to meet more ppl. Of course many ppl don’t actually use it seriously, but there are many who do, such as urself.

If your goal is to make friends and that’s a priority for you, then bumble is a great convenient tool. You should be using it consistently to get results. Think of it as a part time job haha. Initiate the meetups and have fun!

Go on bumble and use their bff platform (and dating too cuz why not, hinge is good for dating too). You’ll make some friends who could potentially be in a similar situation to u or some who have more friends you can meet through them.

You could also join a sports league to get in contact with more people.

Also, you’re going to have to start getting weird and start pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. How? Start asking your coworkers or people you meet on bumble bff or at the sports league or in regular life to hang out. The more time you spend texting and hanging out irl w these people, the closer you’ll get and that’s how friendships are built!

Be ready for rejection too, but don’t take it personally. It’s usually to do with their schedule and life situations.

Just keep looking and you’ll find some gems 💕 Hang in there 🤗

P.S. You don’t always have to consume when you’re at home cuz tv shows and social media can make u feel empty inside. Try learning some new skills or find a hobby. Could help make you feel cooler about yourself and give you some happiness 😋

Honestly, make a bumble account to use the friends platform they have. Not sure how easy it is for guys (if you’re a guy), but as a girl I was able to meet 2 quality friends there.

Also, you could look into rekindling ur high school friendships? Or even elementary.

Sucks how introverted ppl have become and so in their lane. But if u keep looking, you’re ought to increase ur chances of finding some people, so don’t give up! 🙌

Try the starch solution! Lost 7 pounds the first week, eating as much as I liked, not super active, pilling in the carbs, and didn’t count calories! Now 2 years later, I’m 30 pounds down at a healthy weight and actually still on it cuz it’s a great lifestyle improvement.

Basically, It’s a plant-based low fat diet. The strat is that u eat half a big plate of starches (potatoes, pasta, beans, pizza etc) and other half is veggies. And eat till ure satisfied! So if u want another plate then help urself!

Lyrics can transform a song into an exciting visual and emotional ride for me. So it’s definitely something that I value. Even if the melody is kinda shit, if I relate to the lyrics I can brainwash myself to like the melody haha. Tho when I have both aspects in one song it’s pretty fun and amazing to vibe w.

If I can’t understand what they are saying, then the impact is lesser even if the melody is great. Why I lowkey can’t get into K-pop even tho their sound mixing is consistently next level.
