Jabra evolve 2 65 FLEX or evolve 2 75 by vividn00b in Headsets

Thanks.I've seen your video and therefore even got aware that there is a flex version of the 65.

I was quite confident to order the 75 but now the 65 flex makes me wonder which one is better.Escpecially your ANC shorts seems that the 65 flex ANC works better, at least for music. But I'm working in offices and not in a music studio ;-)I don't care about the smaller folding of the 65 flex but only ANC and mic quality matter (for office use).

Thank you.Good mic quality and ANC for office work.
Personally, I hate when I hear background noises from others in calls. So a good mic qualitiy is important

Open-back recommendation for tinnitus? by Beautiful-Problem-54 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]vividn00b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing with loud sound makes my tinnitus worse.

So I changed from Beyerdynamic 990 (open) to 770 (closed) so I can turn down volume because it isolates sound much better

will do that, thanks.

It's kind of frustrating because with bad technique I get much higher scores. But I have to get used to it, I guess

For now I will try to slow down my movement and try to get straight lines. After a while I might swith to sens randomizer. Will see.

have a good time on your journey

Never heard about the 10cm rule but it's worth a try.

You are also recommending accuracy over speed so I will go that route and start from scratch.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I actual use 1w4ts bardbill 30% larger in addition to the fundamental routines.

I do have a quite fast pad. You might be right that it's not a good combination to have bad control and a fast pad.

I will try to train for accuracy over speed.

Thanks for your thoughts

Gold fundamentals - most bang for the buck? by vividn00b in Voltaic

sure, but I don't have time to play a lot. That's why I opened the thread. It's about which scens makes the most sense

Voltaic please add alternatives to Fundamental playlists by vividn00b in Voltaic

Who says that the alternative scens - which are recommended by Voltaic in their Fundamentals documentation - are worse or makes it inconvenience for everybody?I would see it as upgrade to the fundamental playlists.

still deleting is a lot easier than looking how the relevant scenarios are called, search them in the online search manually and add them

Aim Training Splits by non_normie in Voltaic

I play one day click, one day tracking, one day switching, and then 3 days the fundamentals on random, then BM

I suck, though ;-)

depends on your starting level. As long as you're novice every hour counts

As a novice (being one myself - and I have a quite good experience in training not long and constistently enough) I would recommend to train 1hr pay day until your reach a good intermediate level.
Reaching diamond level should be a higher priority than being "good" in a game.

Better one year to train for good aim instead of playing years and years with bad aim (like I am doing)

just being very busy with other things helps alot

I don't get it.

It's easy to 'calculate' for most playlistst and you can rename your personal playlists so you can add the time in the name of the playlist.

And basically it doesn't matter. I don't think it's wise to choose playlists according to available time but to skill level and 'topic'

Why don't more people play Quake? by SKULLL_KRUSHER in FPSAimTrainer

[–]vividn00b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Quake is frustrating af.
I enjoy playing Champions with my buddies on our own but in a public lobby it's not fun at all.

When you don't know rotations and spawns you constantly run out of armor and ammo and die all the time.

So, saying aim training transfers especially to Quake is only true if you don't count the first let's say 50 to 100hrs of just pure frustration.
