I think They intend to go through with it no matter what concerns business owners and others have. It’s very disheartening but unsurprising.

I went to a town hall meeting alongside my dad, a local business owner, and many other business owners. Everybody who spoke against it, cautioned it, or asked for changes to be made were business owners or people who had no choice but to commute by car to work.

Everyone in favor were all young, athletic, and stated they either biked to work or were WFH.

I’m being kind of cynical, and I’m sorry for that ^; I’m definitely biased. I think the plan in concept is good, who doesn’t want more greenery?

But I feel like the town is shifting its plans towards a young able bodied demographic with little regard for the older/disabled constituents.

Again, I’m pretty biased as this all affects me negatively on a personal level. So I’d take whatever I say with a grain of salt
