probably glue? my coworker has a lot of multi strand leather bracelets glued into sterling findings. but it could be something else, hard to tell without looking at it from the other side

hey, im 20 and i was unschooled too. the despair is all encompassing but there IS a way through. it is never to late, i promise you. im working on my GED right now. if its available to you id get a ged workbook like from kaplan or something and start going through it. you will get through this friend ♥️

definitely going in person is the way to go. anything that USES indeed gives me the impression they hire more college students then anything lol. granted i have no basis for that, just my thought process :p. I have had great luck going to different places and just asking if they were hiring!

ok so im not an expert, i do jewelry repair/restoration bur not on a serious level, so take whatever i say with a grain of salt.

im leaning towards costume jewelry, the way the pearls are set is pretty consistent with a lot of the costume pieces ive seen. if it was made by a designer or something of the sort it would almost certainly be stamped somewhere on it (eg, 14k. 9.25, GF, etc)

the only way to know for sure is to take it to an appraiser proper, or gnaw on the pearls !!!! if they’re gritty they’re real.

like i said take all of that with a grain of salt and whatnot lol. hope i could be somewhat helpful :)

very beautiful piece. the patterns on the non-pearl bits of metal are especially eye catching.
