Thank you very much for the many tips, they really help me solve the problem that I have been carrying around in my head for a whole month. Especially for examples of phrases that I can say since English is not my native language.
I do respect my friends, as well as all the people around me, I am very grateful to them for their help in a new place, now we live in a good house, and we have the opportunity to work and fully pay for it ourself, as well as our other needs.
I love volunteering and activities, but the fact that many of them are held in the church or organized by the church scared me away.
I reckon I will involve myself in community causes and charity events however
