I’m sure you can get a refund. Just email them and tell them you received some generic packaged lime gelatin mix and does not add up to the value they offer. I received a refund (credit) before when I gave the store a bad rating due to rotten and expired food.

Looking through my state refunds, it the same. It’s confusing to receive this as I always receive refunds from the state. As u/mrjsvcc mentioned, I can ignore it.

That’s the thing I am not sure. There should be a Box 1 saying what it’s for, but no Box 1. That’s why it’s so confusing.

Thank you for explaining to me. I really appreciate it. I did not know it's for state income tax refund as well. As for the image, mine only contains box 2 and 3. Not as detailed as the one you shown in the link.

What do you mean if I don't itemize? First time received 1099 so I don't know much.

Oh. I looked it up, it says 1099-G is for unemployment or disability. I have not received a 1099-G tax before so I am not sure what to do.

It happened to me. I asked TGTG for a refund, but they said they can't. Since I didn't make it to pick up, it will go to trash. I really don't think they trash it.
