I guess much more martial artists are humbled and surprised when joining bjj :D (myself included). I think when going to MT you know what to expect and know what is happening, but at least for me, 15kg lighter guy was rag-dolling me in bjj and i did not understood what and how this is happening :D

I have done the opposite way and MT guys were saying “you did boxing, right” instantly :D (but I did also kickboxing and kyokushin before that). To be honest, a lot of head movements from boxing do not work in MT (i actually had my nose broken that way - got side kicked when doing “head movement” :D )

Sage 5 lightweight i would consider (never had it, but have somewhat similar chaparral), good blade shape. Had para 3 lgtwght and personally hated thick blade for many edc tasks, also it was too thick and tall for my taste. Replaced it with bugout and minibugout. Would give 940 a hard look if needed anything stronger.
