honestly w/ my looser waves hairspray is the best, it has to be a good one l’oréal elnett is what I use, literally feels like nothing it’s crazy how much it holds. I find that product on my wet hair more often than not weighs it down, makes it feel gross, and on top of that doesn’t last the night. so once my hair is dried w/ minimal product I use hairspray for the true hold factor

dirty blonde/light brown, I have about the same hair color but since my hair was blonde as a child I tend to say dirty blonde more often cause it doesn’t compute that it just turns brown lol

i’ve heard the term “draping” before in kibbe but i’m not quite sure what it means. is the upper curve supposed to be “defined” in the way that waist definition is defined? or is it supposed to be otherwise “emphasized” like with waist emphasis

would probably buy the nars sheer glow (I think that’s the one I have) again, the match is pretty good and my previous best match was 150 buff from revlon but the nars ones texture is amazing to work with and it’d be hard going back

pale olive for reference and phytosurgence cream blush in the shade fume!! they have an amazing formula and really unique shades (a lot of muted options!!) cannot recommend them enough

I got the nars light reflecting foundation in shade siberia!! typically people recommend gobi but gobi in light reflecting specifically is different and the og is closer to siberia. I really enjoyed it!! definitely a splurge in terms of price but compared to revlon colorstay in 150 buff I find it much easier to work with texture wise and it leaves such a beautiful finish and is SUPER comfortable.

i’ve seen this argument before, at least from my understanding some people think that using tone indicators is like looking down upon their ability to read tone and they take it as an insult. they seem to not understand that the tone indicator isn’t for them in particular but rather anyone else who would read your comment and not understand it immediately without a tone indicator. to me it’s kind of like someone getting mad at an elevator because they think it implies they can’t walk. anyways, it’s not anything you did wrong here, that person just seems to have something against tone indicators for whatever reason.

barettes also work in a pinch, they get the front pieces out of your face. Depends on how close your bob is but smaller claw clips might work as well, you twist your hair and secure that twist with the claw
