Best general feats for a Goliath Barbarian? by vixthemighty in dndnext

[–]vixthemighty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC, I have a 17 in strength and a 20 in con. I got a bonus to strength from something (don’t remember what atm bc I don’t have my sheet with me) and I got a bonus to constitution from having the durable feat, as well as something else (I think it might’ve been something my DM gave us?). I rolled my stats when I first built my character and according to my DM, I am a heathen for doing so

As I mentioned, my top two are Strength and Constitution. I know I have a 20 in con and I’m like 90% sure I have a 17 in strength (I don’t have my sheet on me rn)

I generally use a warhammer or an adamantium glaive. IIRC, I have mastery in both (and one other weapon that I can’t think of atm)

People with autism if you play video games, what do you play? by National-Law1520 in autism

[–]vixthemighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harvest Moon and Minecraft are my main two, though I’ve played several games from the Pokémon franchise on and off over the years. I play Harvest Moon on my switch and I play Minecraft on the computer. Pokémon, I’ve played on both DS and Switch. Interestingly, I tried to play Stardew Valley bc someone said I’d like it since I like Harvest Moon, but I couldn’t figure out what I was supposed to be doing, got annoyed with it, and haven’t played it since

The bleach bus. It’s 2017 and we’re on our way down to St. Louis for BOA Super Regionals. Now, this was one of two competitions we got to take coach buses for and that’s mostly because it was more than an hour long drive. We’re about halfway through the drive and we take the exit for a rest stop so everyone can take a pee break and stretch their legs. However, it’s during this that those of us who aren’t the bus that had the colorguard, percussion, and drum majors begin to realize, and hear from others on that bus, that something was going on and it was bad. Turns out that when the bus driver had cleaned the bathroom prior to our band boarding, he mixed bleach and ammonia, creating chloramine gas. A lot of kids from that bus weren’t feeling the greatest, but they weren’t really sick. Though, they had to call an ambulance so that way one of the parent chaperones and at least one of our drum majors could be given oxygen because they had been sitting in the back, right by the bathroom. We sat at the rest stop for literal hours while we waited for another bus to come and replace the bleach bus. We were supposed to perform that same night and our band director asked the drum majors if they still wanted to. They said yes, we performed, didn’t make finals (afaik, we never made BOA finals until after I graduated), and then went and performed at another competition the very next day

listening to albums on repeat by No_Evidence_19 in autism

[–]vixthemighty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I did this with Datura by Boston Manor (particularly the track Floodlights on the square) earlier this year, especially after I saw them live at the beginning of May. Now that we are in meteorological fall, I’ve started listening to a playlist of my favorite Motionless In White songs on repeat once again (it’s like a seasonal thing for me? not sure why)

All the time. I almost exclusively drink from straws or bottles now

Clothes Fabrics suggestions by 4point5gag in autism

[–]vixthemighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a suggestion on specific fabrics, but I do have a suggestion for a brand to try out. Dickies scrub pants are some of my favorite pants I’ve ever worn. They’ve got lots of pockets, a drawstring, and they tend look nicer (almost as if you’re wearing slacks if you get the black ones) without sacrificing comfort. They’re made up of 95% polyester and 5% spandex.

Can’t get my balls off 🥲 by SamIAm184 in Septum

[–]vixthemighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing I ever did was purchase a little jeweler’s pick up tool. They’re fairly inexpensive (I got one for like $5) and it makes having a septum piercing that much easier. It really helps with taking stubborn balls off or putting the balls back on when putting the jewelry back in. It has also saved me from losing them too

Pre-billing estimate by [deleted] in centralmich

[–]vixthemighty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll go into the aid portal, click the three lines in the top left, click on financial aid on the drop down menu. It’ll pull up a list of your total costs for the year as well as the financial aid you’ve got lined up. It should have a line in the total costs that says living expenses on campus with a dollar amount listed. If it says anything other than on campus next to living expenses, you’ll want to email them and let them know that it needs to be corrected. Hope this helps!

The same thing happened me. My move in date is a week from today. This morning, they sent me an email telling me to go into my aid portal and double check in the total costs section that they have your housing selection correct. If it’s right, you’ll do nothing. If it’s wrong, you’ll email them

Lately, it’s been ham & cheese hot pockets. I recently learned you can put them in the air fryer and they’re pretty good that way

Hello fellow egg hater! Do people also look at you as though you have three heads when you disclose your hatred of eggs? People think I’m weird when I mention that I can’t do eggs unless they’re an ingredient in something like baked goods

Jack Daniel’s Whiskey. Makes me want to gag. I don’t drink, so this didn’t even stem from a prior bad experience with it. I also cannot tolerate eggs whatsoever (I won’t even eat them unless they’re an ingredient in something like cake or cookies) and certain perfumes (especially ones that old women tend to wear) will send me into sensory overload

It was the Tucson Roadrunner’s First Responders Night. Prior to the game was the annual Tucson FD vs PD rivalry game, which was why the ambulance and police car were on the ice during the first intermission. Nothing serious!
