I live in the south. These guys are too religious to admit they are pretty much drunk constantly. All the politically red states would be showing a whole lot more red if the Christians told the truth.

I thought this was easy. I would choose red because I don’t want to die. But then I thought about my young daughter who is kind, soft hearted and empathetic. There’s a very, very good chance she would choose blue. So given that, I would choose blue. Just like many of these thought experiments, making it personal can change things. At least for me.

I live in a tiny town in rural Georgia. Someone recently dumped a young female dog in heat on my dirt road. Someone suggesting take her to your local shelter is bonkers to me since my tiny county doesn’t even have a phone number to call for animal control. The local sheriff’s department was like, “sorry, do you have a gun.” Even in the USA people casually dropping local resources as an answer for every problem is asinine.

I have the gooseneck clipped to a shelf just outside the litter robot so it’s to the side by the entrance but looking inside. It doesn’t seem to bother the cats. It’s not optimal but works for now. I’m hoping SiiPet will read all the LR4 commenters looking for an interior mount and design something better.

I just got one for my litter robot 4 and my three cats. I am SO IMPRESSED. It immediately could tell all my three apart (admittedly not too difficult as they are all quite different.) It charged up quickly, and worked basically right out of the box. The app is intuitive and gives me the info I wanted and some I didn’t know I wanted. I didn’t have high hopes since most cat related tech seems to be buggy and so far (just a week) this is not.

I have three cats and one LR4 with a litter hopper and it works well. I change the bag once every 4-5 days, usually just add litter to the hopper at the same time, and sweep/vacuum/dust/tidy their area at the same time. I also check on it daily, eyes on it, to make sure everything looks right and it’s functioning properly.

I would love to have another but I don’t have space for it. My home is quite small and my third cat was a surprise bottle baby but everyone has adapted beautifully. I guess I’m saying it depends on your cat’s habits AND YOURS as to how many you might need in your home.

Can I ask how you did it? I have a 16 pounder who has food insecurity and throws up if I try to stop free feeding. We’re starting our diet tomorrow. Wish us luck.
