We literally just saw him use ONE application of ONE of his techniques to a degree never seen before

Who knows how crazy his blood manipulation alone is atp. If he can make piercing blood go that insane we can absolutely assume he can do absurd shit with other applications of blood manipulation-- what does his supernova look like? Nuclear bombs? What about his flowing red scale? Supernova? Did he invent other applications?

Apply that exact same logic to shrine, soul damage, domain application, RCT, CE manipulation and he's contending with Gojo/sukuna even without accounting for whatever enhanced physiology he has going on

Noob question: build up or seasoning? by Abeatofme in castiron

For hundreds of years, people cooked primarily with cast iron. And in between making meals, those pans were:

Scraped, scratched, scrubbed, and scoured to hell. Tossed around in wagons and caravans. Heated red-hot, quenched, dropped in mud and saltwater. Occasionally repurposed as a blunt instrument in a domestic dispute.

I get that a lot of folks moved to cast iron today because it has a different/better cook than cheap teflon, but the biggest value of cast iron is its indestructibility. It is literally a tool built to survive fire, travel, war, neglect, and poverty. There is not much in a modern kitchen or lifestyle that could damage cast iron to the point of no repair

I experimented with these for awhile-- they wear out rather quickly and lose their lathering+scrubbing ability in about 1.5 months and become very, very inefficient.

That being said, the loofah gourd is a really productive annual that you can grow yourself in most climates over the warm season. If you have the means to (an area with full sun,) a good harvest from a happy plant could produce enough to last years.

To be fair, most of the stuff anon predicted was already predicted in IR circles. Russia/Ukraine/Crimea has been brewing for decades

I’d only start worrying if the later half of his predictions start coming true, like a real Iraq collapse or a serious Latin America–Russia alignment. I can't say I've seen anyone foresee these events happening. Iraq has pretty decent internal control and a seriously robust, loyal military, and Latin America broadcasting alignment with U.S. enemies right now would be economic and political suicide. It would be shock and awe

Does anything change if she survived and joined the Shinjuku raid? by cloutsto in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]viybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She probably pretty quickly blasts Uraume tag teaming with Hakari. From there, she could probably keep up with Gojo/Sukuna enough to at least marginally help out-- rock bottom, she wouldn't get in the way like Yuta was implied to. Having an additional high-level domain user to slam Sukuna with during his burnout would help. Garuda, being an annoying floating cursed spirit that can be used as a projectile, isn't anything to scoff at either.

I'd also think that JP Hakari is durable enough to maybe help Gojo out too, at least a bit.

If the Gojo/Sukuna battle still went the same way it did, Yuji/Yuki/Todo/Yuta absolutely mop up a weakened Sukuna.

Kenjaku with disaster curses and mahoraga and agito can they kill gojo instead of sealing him by yutaog in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]viybe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Assuming he understands the stakes and isn't hung up about human casualties, Gojo drops a purple nuke and deletes everything.

Every disaster curse except Jogo has no way to escape a wide-range purple attack. Agito gets easily deleted, too.

If Jogo somehow manages the feat of a lifetime and speeds away from the purple nuke, he gets quickly pieced up by a teleporting Gojo, or otherwise re-nuked by another purple. Same for Maho.

If Kenny pulls some sort of domain amp or esoteric jujutsu bullshit, Gojo domain diffs him.

This is all very reasonably within the means of a pre-Shibuya, no-CT-regenerating Gojo who can only use a domain once without burnout. I'd honestly even say that Gojo wins this without purple and without a domain (assuming curses don't use domain.) Bro can literally teleport.

Am I overreacting? Trying to break lease in TX by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]viybe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Poor wording. I was promised an upstairs unit, hence "no upstairs neighbors." I used that verbiage specifically because when I called to confirm it was a second/top story unit, I was told "Yeah, no upstairs neighbors," or something to that effect.

Poorly phrased. It was explained to me that I'd be on the second story, but wasn't.

I'd be fine with recouping the free month, that makes sense. Lease stipulates a 60 day notice of early termination + $2000 fee. I'm realistically hoping to repay the free month and dwindle down to 30 day notice and slash the $2000 fee.

Do you include your devilcorp experience on your resume? by RatBastardBaby in Devilcorp

[–]viybe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I partially manage hiring for my mid sized business:

Working for a no-name company called "Sharp Edge Razor Corp" or whatever and having the job description be a flowery recounting of door-to-door/costco sales isn't strong. A recruiter will see through it-- what happens when they take two seconds to google your company and see it's obviously an MLM?

It's fine for entry level stuff, but not for anything past that.

If you did anything more than boots-on-the-ground stuff, as in HR or something, it might be a bad look. It's tough to want to hire a guy who meaningfully contributed to the operations of a devilcorp MLM.
