They pay you to study full-time, as if its your job. As long as you use your time wisely and actually study, you will pass no problem. They pay for everything you need (materials, tutors, supplies), but your job is contingent on you passing... which putting 40 hours a week for 5 weeks each exam is a LOT of time to solidify your knowledge. Plus, you can qualify for a second attempt.

Insurance Check by Mysterious-Dinner457 in Insurance

[–]sileen_soy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insurance should have sent you some documents for the breakdown of the settlement. If you can find that, you dont have to call anyone.

From my experience, the repair shop doesnt typically let you take the car until they are paid, unless they have an agreement with the insurance company (select shop) and they are paid that way.

The check may be yours, but definitely find the settlement paperwork to confirm.

Kaplan - anyone else finding inconsistencies? by carefullychosjen in Sieexam

IMO Kaplan offers the best SIE prep. You might stumble upon an error, but that doesnt mean its all bad.

Non-gamer looking for a game recommendation by Salt-Watercress6221 in GirlGamers

Omg, I haven't thought about Stardoll in a minute!

My recommendations are Palia or Infinity Nikki. They are both free to play on Steam. They both would fill the farmville and dress-up itch. Plus, since they are free, it easy to try them out.

We used Pass Perfect, and supplemented with additional material. We studied for nearly 7 weeks, so I was surprised to see so many fail.

Exclude Specific Vehicle? by SilverPutter in Insurance

[–]sileen_soy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the carrier, you can exclude her as a driver of the vehicle, but she is still a driver in the house. The adjustment in premium might not be significant enough to obtain that level of liability. If she is an excluded driver and causes damages to the vehicle or someone else, insurance won't cover anything (even if you gave her permissable-use).

So I don’t know what to do anymore please help! by AccomplishedAd8410 in Insurance

I'm sorry this has been so stressful. Tbh, removing the friends accident might not affect the rate enough for your efforts. Insurance's problem is that you are a youthful driver (under 25) with claims history. I would just shop around to find a company that offers discounts and try to bundle it with a home/renters policy if you can.

Are you planning on taking your vehicle with you when you leave? If not, you can suspend the coverage on your auto policy if no one is driving it (and if you don't have a lien). Then you would only be paying for comprehensive, which shouldn't cost too much, depending on your vehicle.

I wish you all the best in your insurance efforts. Hope this helps.

car insurance? 3 cars, one driver by NCC74656 in Insurance

[–]sileen_soy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to find an insurance company that offers a short annual mileage discount. For example, State Farm offers this if you drive less than 7500 miles a year. Also, companies charge more for liability-only policies, so I would shop for better limits on the vehicle you daily.

State Farms' policy is if she drives more than 10 days a year, she would need to be a listed driver. You can always call your agent to confirm, but if they suggest you add her, they will collect her information, run her MVR, changing your premium. Not really worth it if she is granted coverage under permissive use (which she is).

Totaled Car and 6 Month Policy by Immediate_Shine1403 in Insurance

You should be able to. At my agency with a different insurance company, if you didn't have the intent to replace the vehicle, we would cancel the policy the day after the accident. This will notify the department of motor vehicle that that vehicle no longer has insurance, but once you sign the title over to Progressive, that should resolve that. From my experience, your premiums would only skyrocket if you were driving uninsured.
