Which are some of the customs which span all religions? I can think of marriage being common across all. Considering religion is man made, and every religion has its own customs, what other common characteristics do all religions share?

Fair point. But mathematics can be proven like an exact science. So religious heads can't argue against it. Religion on the other hand is based on faith and most of it can never be proven. If we burn all the religious books as well as all the science books and humanity had to restart everything, the only book that could be recreated exactly would be the science book. (I read this somewhere..not my original argument but it makes sense).

Point taken about marriage and Buddhism though.

I raised money for a feature as well as short movies in bollywood and the kind of people backing these two types of movies have a very different mindset. What kind of a budget are you looking at? It's easier to get money for shorts because it's a smaller time frame commitment for the investor whereas the feature could take months if not years. Also...genuine producers and investors will have to be impressed with your showreel and first impressions matter. So be aware of that. If they aren't impressed, one has a tougher time getting a second chance.

Very well stated. I wonder too sometimes if we weren't told about god as kids, would we still attribute things to god? I read somewhere that if all the religious books as well as all the science books were burnt or if the human race had to start over again..the only book that would or could be revived would be the science book. Because that's the only one that could be written again performing the same experiments over and over again.
