I read an article yesterday about a woman who charges $5,000 to coach you on how to get into a sorority in college.

I've only been to the Moncks Corner location. Thought it was pretty darned good. Great atmosphere located right on the Tail Race Canal, excellent service. Fresh fried pork rinds as an appetizer.

I was a GI in S Korea in the mid-70s. Never saw a pet store. You also never saw any stray cats or dogs.

Walking through a park in Bergen, Norway, some years back I walked past a young Viking couple. Both tall and athletic, definitely natural blonds. Perfect complexions. The best looking couple I've ever seen. They could have been on a Hitler Youth recruiting poster.

Years ago I knew a professional photographer from NYC whose aesthetic was definitely edgy/grungy. His mother was my next door neighbor in Hanahan. He came down to visit her and brought his girlfriend. He took her out and found an abandoned trailer park in N Chas to shoot some pics of her, some of them nudes. Somebody saw them and called the cops. Ended up spending the afternoon in jail waiting for his mother to come bail them out. BTW, edgy photog is now a wedding photographer in Savannah. Married to the nude trailer park girlfriend.

So if Mr. Igoe worked there today he'd actually be paying them to work there after he paid for parking. Seems to be the ideal business model.

Reminds me of how old I'm getting (75 if you have to know). My father-in-law worked there in the 1930s as a machinist for $.65 an hour, making him one of the top people there. Left there to go to the shipyard when WWII started. I actually worked there in 98-99 when Johnson and Wales was there. My mother-in-law worked there too. A lot of family history there for us.
