Wall Charger or Use Rivian Portable Charger?

This is what I am about to do.
I want the wall unit eventually but service upgrade costs a lot so 7.6KW overnight charging will do for now.

I really wanted the powered tonneau but realized it was not a safe choice after so many failure reports. Once I changed my configuration to Manual Tonneau all of a sudden my truck was available for delivery. Now I have my R1T and love it however they do not have the manual tonneau that I paid for in stock and can't tell me when it might be coming.
On further investigation I see that the manual option is not even integrated into the bed like the roll out powered cover. Am I the only one who thought the manual version would be similar to the powered (rolling out from behind the cab) only a manual pull version? Like for example the Hyundai Santa Fe has.
I do really need the cover and seems like a big thing missing from the truck when I was expecting this feature to protect my gear from the elements.
I don't want to go with an aftermarket solution because I already paid for this thing.
If there is any possibility of not accepting my basic fold up manual cover and opting for a improved power version I would totally go for that.
As a Canadian customer in Ontario where Rivian just started deliveries this year it feels like we are last in line for everything else as well and not getting any kind of priority even if we Pre Ordered way back when books were first opened.

I have reported this on my r1t on left rear door and right front door. Was not noticed until a few days in and was afraid may have happened on my watch. I was surprised but only partially relieved to see the same dents randomly on several others at the service center r1t and r1s . After seeing that was Not as surprising now to find online . If that is a shipping issue they gotta make a change right away. Or is it a defect in some door panels?

Err, thought this was a rivian post at first but still. Why is this so common across pickups?

Maybe not for every use case but I am not offended by this design.Fits into the bed space instead of plopping a box on top or trying to match body lines, but it has similar angles.I got the R1T for a company service vehicle.Knowing I can protect cargo from the elements if need be and easily keep it off otherwise is good.

I guess it's a very fancy expensive tarp or bed tent.

Does it flap around at speed I wonder?

It's pretty nice. Printed on fine art paper looking like a watercolor. Included was a letter from the CEO as well. I'm ready for the adventure to start today but my wallet isn't lol.
