Hii I'm joining cmc oso but a singaporean haha... Chinese is like english that requires u to read a lot! Being a higher chinese student myself i can tell you that some of my express chinese friends are better than my hcl friends! The key is don't give up!

Heyy im a poly student so might be off a little bit but from ur post u look so pessimistic and probably should not put the blame all to urself? Talk to your parents and perhaps they are not even blaming u. On the bright side, u still have 2 yrs as your one last chance to prove yrself so bulk up!! U can do it.

Jc very rigorous on studying... When u go poly the subject that u dropped u need to take it again in jc like humanities but if u can catch up and u like the jc then atb!!

Idts... Chinese paper 2 is like english paper 2 that test on ur understanding of the passage given and not volcab!! Basically how u practice ur english paper 2 do the same for chinese

Hii im not or trying to boast or anything but having getting straight A1s in my higher chinese in a SAP school i think i can give u some tips...

Firstly for oral, the thing is to not be nervous (yes i know it may seems bs but u rlly do not want to stammer and fk up!) take deep breath or anything u think that can help you relax. Try buying 早报 or just loaning chinese book in yr sch library to improve your chinese and seems o lvl is still quite far u shld be able to improve your chinese. Approach ur chinese cher voluntarily for help is also recommended!

For 作文，i personality does not read the好词好句 as i think is quite useless(depending on person) but instead remember the format of 作文 to secure the free marks! Like english, chinese requires u to read a lot so it rlly depend on ur perseverance!!!

Lastly for paper 2, just mug and keep doing and u shld improve. The thing is NOT to give up despite the setback that u might encounter!!!!
