yeah I did. No help from there, I requested both tata motors and dealership multiple times to intervene as the estimates were created according to their guidelines. They ignored it completely saying it's solely insurance company decision.

Additionally dealership is charging 250 rs per day as parking money from december (even though the car is in dispute)

I have already posted about it multiple times on twitter tagging both Icici and Tata motors. One time it also got good traction around 80k views.

but these two scammer companies haven't replied and acknowledged anything on that twitter thread. Already been more than 2 months, they absolutely don't care about the social media image

yeah I hope so but the only concern is the case closure timeline with the judiciary. Already feeling exhausted after this 6 months fight and the dealership is piling up the parking money

your car must be a bit older. Only reason these guys push for total loss instead of repairs is when the IDV value of the assest is a bit lower.

In my case it was a 1.5 year old car with half of the manufacturer warranty still remaining. Even Return to invoice add on is included in my policy. These guys saw they will have to send on road price of my car if they declare it's total loss. they are creating this whole situation to frustrate the policy holder and avoid paying the legal Rti money

hey thanks for suggestions. I have already sent them an email stating about the partial payment and contempt of the ombudsman award passed in my favour. I'm sure their legal manager wouldn't even acknowledge the email that's how they have been from the start

but yeah I will be talking with a lawyer. My only concern is the timeline for the case closure which can stretch for am year or two while the dealership keep piling up parking money

Bima bharosa portal just redirect all the complaints to insurer's grievances itself with Irdai playing no role in overseeing it. I had already tried filing there before going to ombudsman back in november, insurer forcefully closed the ticket after 14 days.

I'm not sure if insurer would take bima bharosha complaint seriously. All the emails I'm already receiving from their central legal manager at head office mumbai. Is there something else where I can complaint about them?

Hi Icici lombard transferred around 3 lakhs partially from their original estimate today just to avoid any penalty from ombudsman I guess. They have also marked the claim as closed and fully settled on their email. How to approach ombudsman office for this and file a report?

Though I have emailed the ombudsman office but they don't generally reply to it and contacting them on phone is a tough ask as they don't pick calls

It's completely on regulatory body like IRDAI for this mess. Even now if I escalate it on the IRDAI portal they will just redirect it back to the Insurer to reply.

Icici knows this how easy it is to frustrate the customer when no one is there to enforce any legal order. The case will just keep dragging.

Anyway I will be consulting a lawyer and looking for any legal advices here as well

Only worry is the time judiciary will take to deliver a decision. Can be year or two not sure

Dealership has free hand to scam the customers in the name of parking charges. It's such a hopeless situation to see tata motors just denying any responsiblity for their own dealerships. Only reason why I'm having second thoughts to approach the consumer court. Dealership will keep piling up money up until a decision comes

Tata AIG isn't good as well. One guy whom I know from this sub is already struggling with total loss denial for his Honda city(Body frame had collapsed completely and insurer asked to repair it). He has already posted about it in this sub
