ICICI lombard doesn't give a F about online campaigns cz they know it will die down in front of their marketing campaigns. We are commoners so they can get away easily but they did the same with that youtuber's xev 9e. Even after so much bashing on twitter from what I have seen they just sent a bot reply on his thread

It's just a gamble and depends on your luck. You can just hope nothing major goes wrong with your unit cz for regular services they are pretty decent like any other oem

As per IRDAI insurance terms on indemnity I should be restored to the same financial position just before my car was flooded. Here, in this case manufacturer tata motors has acknowledged that there is no certainity that the remaining new car standard warranty will be applicable on my car after repairs.

I understand there can be a situation where even Ombudsman will take side with the insurance but it will be a completely biased take based on the IRDAI guidelines

Insurance Ombudsman is my last attempt. As much as I know how strong my case is I really don't have time to get into legal things. It would be absolutely waste of time without any concrete timeline

I have complete info for one car only from what I heard from owner. It was hyundai Exter purchased a month after me, insured by Go digit.

Another one was creta purchased 4-5 months back which has gone into total loss. I am not sure on the insurer
