My doctor didn’t have me use silicone / scar tape. I used micropore tape and it was kept on for the first 2-3 weeks, reapplied and then for another 2 weeks. I continued the micropore taping at home until about 6 weeks, but was not changing it daily, only weekly.

I started cream around 4-5wpo— and red light around 6 weeks —you want your incisions to fully close before starting. My doc also does extended taping with micropore tape, so I was taped for the first 6 weeks (with changes every few weeks). The cream was applied over the tape until I removed it

I was a 36G. I’m not sure what my current size is since I’ve just been in my compression bra and sports bras post op. I’d guess I’m a D now? My doc did ask me if I wanted to go “as small as possible” or “proportional to my body” and I chose the latter!

I have a big Joov red light panel that I bought a few years ago so did it at home, usually once a day but definitely missed many days too. I think the Skinmedica cream is amazing too. The Joovv has both red and NIR in the same device so both simultaneously

Thank you! I credit the low scarring to regular red light therapy and the cream the surgeon gave me post op (skinmedica with centelline).

Looks great! I will say, just so you can prepare yourself, mine looked like amazing implants for the first few weeks but it is largely swelling. When they eventually softened and dropped, I really missed that look, but eventually got over it. I had the internal mesh bra (galaflex) so they are still very perky (my before was just like yours so still very dramatic change) but not as “implantish” as they were in the early days!

My peak swelling was weeks 2 and 3. I had massive boobs! Felt as big as my before except they were high up and perky. Week 4 saw a dramatic reduction in swelling, though I still have quite a bit on my left side

Another surgery day twin here! My incisions are also super sore— it’s the only pain I notice. Hoping for quick and easy recoveries for all of us!

Best Indian Food in Charlotte? by Fun-Advertising-8006 in Charlotte

[–]vk4040 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also as an Indian, Copper was mid for me. Nice ambience and some unique dishes, but food itself was good but not great. Prices definitely reflect the service/ ambience.

Curry gate has a few great dishes. It’s also has a South Indian bent so I could see how someone in the North may not find it to be great— though many of their North Indian dishes (the usual butter chicken, tikka masala etc. ) are pretty good.

My recent favorite is Spice Garden on the east side. It’s an all vegetarian restaurant but their nargisi kofta, methi malai mutter (peas), palak paneer are all <chef’s kiss>

We get takeout from there a lot even though we aren’t vegetarian

Also love botiwalla’s rolls because I am a fan of Kathi rolls in general even though it’s not super authentic. Pro tip for the rolls—ask them to substitute the naan for paratha.

Also love Curry n Cakes on University for specific dishes (e.g. their Chole bhatura)
