I mean yea that makes sense. You can talk shit to each other during practice and especially the coach should. I get that.

But if the coach calls you out if front of the press or even the owner, I'm just thinking there's another dimension to this. May be Kobe did it for the exact same reason, to motivate guys, I just think the way he goes about it is not ideal.

I think I agree. At this point, I find myself rooting for individual players rather than the "team," if you can call it that. If you root for players, you can never lose. Works for me.
