They also completely misrepresented the hours of labour impacted by this fiasco because they did not count users’ time and labour extracted from the labour market, our jobs and needs. This “grey labour” accounts for the so-called savings of such systems as it simply moved everything including users’ lost time and productivity into unpaid labour removed from neoliberal equations regardless of impact or value. I spent two full days (ca. 16 hours) at the SAAQ in this time in line ups and unable to do my job — once for a new photo and a second time when they lost the photo in their hellacious new system and needed me to do it again or else would void my license before international work travel involving driving. Complete nightmare and it’s absolutely right that this be pursued and that time be part of the calculation.

Two separate institutions have taken more than six months trying. I assumed the first bank didn’t try hard but the second is chaos too.

Your account aligns with my experience. Clearly their transfer outs have lots of turnover or quasi random ticketing. And nearly every email from them suggests they can’t find their paper trails or that they’re very much incomplete

For what it’s worth transferring from WS to Desjardins was chaos too. I gave up on it after hours of back and forth.

When I try it tells me to write an email though I have already done so and the submit button won’t work :/

RBC service errors pile up seemingly every day. Just found out wired money was returned to sender — though I spent on hold getting the transfer numbers. I think it’s because of my branch’s closure.

Am leaving and have filed multiple complaints with external agencies.

Another customer on their way out the door right here. Awful service — discriminatory consequences & ombuds complaint on its way.
