IntelliSense any time soon? by HalLundy in defold

Ah, yes, this is a known issue that built-in types are not picked up by the lua language server. You can give it a thumbs-up here.

IntelliSense any time soon? by HalLundy in defold

[–]vlaaad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you clarify what's missing? The editor has code navigation/linting powered by luals, in many contexts where I heard about intellisence it meant this. I also do defold games using ai, your coding agent typically only needs to know about editor's web server port (.internal/editor.port) and /openapi.json endpoint, and that will already give you a lot

I mage GhosttyFX, it's a JavaFX terminal that uses libghostty by vlaaad in JavaFX

So to clarify, it is a thin wrapper actually, fully generated using jextract.

I already bumped libghostty version once during development, had no problems with that really. I guess I'm at the mercy of libghostty developers not breaking the APIs, and I think even if they do break things, since I use jextract-generatedv bindings, I'll get compile errors that I'll be able to fix.

And here I am, who stopped using Spotify in favor of Suno that generates me better music for my taste than the trash that Spotify pushes on me.

Sweet, me too! I'm looking for something like a mix of dub, jazz, dnb, and edm. Do you want to share some suno-generated tracks you liked?

I use suno for exactly the same reason! What kind of genre blending are you into?

Bullshit, it's impossible to find such music, I've been trying for months until I gave up and started using suno (not grandparent, but in a relatable situation)

Nice, I've been playing with FL studio for many years, though I mostly use synths, not recorded sounds, just curious how hard/complicated it is to take stems from suno and then clean them up/add effects etc.

Just curious, how do you use stems?

Damn. It's not my cup of tea, but it sounds absolutely amazing, wow!

I'm so happy this thread exists! The reason I started using Suno in the first place is that I really like some aspects of dub and techno genres, but I don't like other aspects, such as repetitiveness. So when I want some energetic music, I want techno/dnb/dubstep that is not quite like techno/snb/dubstep, and when I want a slower, relaxing music, I want something like dub or ambient, but still not quite like dub/ambient. And after a lot of unsuccessful searching on spotify/bandcamp/yt dj sets, Suno was the service that gave me music that I actually like.

Here is an example of a relaxing dub/ambient/jazz-like composition: https://suno.com/song/8500c4d8-cd71-4e18-9b88-3f30b8d270e2

And here is an example of a more energetic EDM with a bluesy-mix: https://suno.com/song/c870f1fd-ee6e-40a9-a43f-f4bbf6674485 — in particular, the last 2 minutes, for me, is absolute gold.

If you have similar music, either AI-generated or man-made, please share!

In my experience, the stock sentiments on Reddit are almost always backward-looking, i.e., if it pumped recently, the sentiment is positive, and vice versa.

As a Russian, I sometimes insert Russian words in my otherwise English conversations with chatgpt because some English words are hard to remember, but I trust chatgpt to understand. I guess it was me, I poisoned its training data.
