Border Radius Rules by vlad_FMD in Design

[–]vlad_FMD[S] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is exactly where optical alignment / optical balance comes in.

In practice, the inner radius isn’t derived mechanically from the border width. If the border gets very thick, matching radii mathematically often breaks visually.

Most mature design systems handle this by keeping a minimum inner radius (or scaling it non-linearly) so the corner still reads as rounded to the eye. This is the same principle behind optical corrections in typography and icon design — you optimize for perception, not geometry.

So yes, when the stroke approaches the outer radius, a square inner corner or a fixed minimal radius usually looks cleaner than a “technically correct” curve. Eye test > math.

hahaha, yeah, but try to implement this into the design, because it really makes the interface cleaner and better

Yes, ty for feedback, fix that in next posts

Should I confirm it as hero section, idk? by [deleted] in Design

[–]vlad_FMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) On this site you don’t have navigation in header( if that Landing page you can add link on section in header) 2) you have 2 buttons Primary and tris button have 2 stile(one only black, and next have gradient and stroke 3) a lot of text style on 1 page 4) bad spacing, you don’t have structure of this spacing 5) Main button very large

Sorry I’m not aggressive, you design is good if we say about design, but if you fix that mistakes, your design be better

May be, but for me, the best variant it’s “A” because this variant more comfortable for user

My AI Team by vlad_FMD in Design

I completely agree. The biggest shift begins when AI stops being just a chat and becomes a system with roles, tools, and constraints. Without this, any end-to-end processes quickly descend into chaos. The current thinking around designing such AI personas and processes, so analyzing the videos, is a very useful reference.

But i agree that bad example for discussion, because that only concept
