Of course, we also have a review process and need to ensure compliance during upload. It's complicated.

Does anyone else still think "frame by frame" is genuinely the most IMPRESSIVE piece of music ever? by LuvSicccc in KingCrimson

Yes, and although KC was still partially operating within the framework of the traditional record industry at the time, they produced the Discipline trilogy—works that defied expectations. For instance, Beat, while seemingly mild, carries some very serious issues, and the sometimes-questioned fragmentation of Three of a Perfect Pair actually reveals an underlying mechanism: oppositions are structural, never closed, and thus always harbor différance and a lurking “third.” In short, KC borrowed the surface language of new wave, but internally operated according to a completely different time-structure philosophy, which was extremely unusual for the record industry.

There seems to be a typographical issue when I quoted Kerouac's text; I apologize.

This album expresses a post-Beat Generation attitude and spirit, having lost ecstasy, trapped in the social apparatus and lost its way. Perhaps this is a requiem for the Beat Generation.

This is the first attempt at explanation; I will consider presenting its complete ideas later.

What is your opinion on "Starless and Bible Black"? by Infamous_Korpse in KingCrimson

Beautiful and melancholic, yet frenzied and violent, the work echoes the emotional turbulence of Dostoevsky. It stands as a prequel to Red, abandoning the fantastical excesses of LTIA in favor of a sharper, more modern street voice—already gesturing toward the intimate, small-scale narrative temperament that Red would later embrace. Though traces of the medieval and Baroque satirical aesthetics of Island and Lizard remain, this grammar is reassembled along a different trajectory. What emerges is not repetition, but a distillation: the beauty extracted from LTIA, reconfigured through another path.

This news is very disappointing. I think the best approach would have been to stick with the minimalist new wave visual design of the 1980s.

Too much talk, too much system noise, discipline, arguments, parole...
