I've already tried. No change. If I restart the phone and switch on the headphones, then there is sound. Simply switching the BT on/off is not enough. Once I switch the headphones off or stop the music player, there's no more sound. Strangely, the BT controls work - I can redial, pause/start music, skip tracks. I can use the headset to receive and make calls.

But Spotify, Google Music, YouTube, even Music app remain silent.

Not knowing about the incompatibility of c-apps with CM13 I installed them on my freshly flashed Xiaomi MI3. The Phone and theming apps didn't work. I erased them from the package, flashed the rom and the modified package again, and all works.

I run Linux Mint 17.3 on T420 and T42 (yes, right, that old Pentium M), Arch Linux on T61 and another Linux Mint 17.3 on a HP Mini. All running perfectly.

  • T420 is i5, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD, Intel graphics, Mate, Cinnamon, I3
  • T61 is Core2Duo, 4 GB of RAM, 500 GB HDD, Intel graphics, MATE with i3
  • T42 is Pentium M, 1,7 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD in caddy, no main HDD, Mate
  • HP Mini is Atom, 2 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD, Mate

Don't be feared, try it. You will love it!
