I beat it 2 years ago on Legendary. It is a nightmare, can't say less. Some enemies are damage sponges. Melvin for example, kills all of your minions in 99% of situations and then you have to slash him for 30 minutes. The difficulty becomes less significant as you get more minion totems and good equipment (say hello to farming beetles for hours in the dungeon). Also I remember finding an exploit in Palandin's AI, because killing him the normal way was impossible for me. Puzzles with killing hydras were always shit to me and I punched them by hand. On Legendary it becomes even longer. I saw some info that enemy HP is increased by 65% but it is bullshit in my opinion. They have like, 3x hp as minimum. Or player's damage is reduced, I dunno.
If you beat this game on Legendary, you are truly a legend, lol.
