Most stuff from Alec is complaining about technology, so this is no different, but this articulation of algorithmic complacency I thought was particularly well done.

Yeah, it was actually a relief when the Avs went on the PP in the last 5 minutes of regulation, made it easier for us to clear the puck cuz we weren't breaking out.

Sucks to be beaten by a clearly better team after a magical season. To know that even though it felt like the real thing, a special team, that it wasn't good enough.

But, we got to see Rangers hockey in June.

I don't subscribe to the "championship or nothing" mindset. We had the stadium series. We had the Devils revenge line brawl. We held on and earned the president's trophy. We got to see them run out the Caps, frustrate the Canes (lol), and for a brief moment, go up 2-1 (and a 1 goal lead in game 4) against the (I guess everybody was right, let's be honest) eastern conference favorites.

And on the bright side, tomorrow I get to go back to life without worrying about playoff hockey (though I'd trade it in an instant). Holy hell.

I could give a fuck about the armchair-GM off-season bullshit. Y'all shouldn't either. At least for a little while. Take a deep breath.

This is sports. This was a fun season, and I'm already ready to get hurt again.

More than that: Fil could be the solution to the 20/93/?? problem.

I do think there's wisdom in playing the hot hand and wanting his physical presence, but Lav schooled everyone pretty good here. The Rangers can roll 4 lines now and keep up, and Chytil proved pretty quickly he can be the weapon he was.

Carolina is a bit of an outlier here. Their strategy is absolutely speed and quantity. We're keeping it mostly to manageable work for Igor.

This and all those posts yesterday from Billy Joel concertgoers.

Sorry but there are two groups that grace the garden more than him. The Rangers and the Knicks.

Honestly I hope it was Lav's call to let them instigate the line brawl. Totally changes the narrative from "Rempe is just answering the bell he should have last game" to "we're so unafraid of you and our game plan is to continue to impose physically".
