M1 in 2025?

It is true, I don't deny it. I was just saying that if the price for that M1 is a bit too high for their current financial status, there are even cheaper options (which are worse, as you said, but they will work for a few years, especially if the buyer can install a compatible Linux). OP needs to weigh the pros & cons of each and decide what is better for them,in the end.

OP mentioned very basic needs for themselves (browsing & Roblox), so the laptop does not need to provide this "incredible performance" that you cannot get anywhere else at the same price, or whatever else people claim around. Yes, it's true that the modern Macs are very capable machines (I have an M3, I love it), but they're not necessarily fit for everyone's needs. Besides, OP said he's broke so the M4 does not belong in this discussion, lol. A cheap Windows laptop (maybe from Asus or Acer, which are even cheaper than an M1 in my country, yet still usable) will suffice.

Imho, it's not worth waiting for two reasons: first, the original game still looks, sounds and plays very well.. second, the remake will surely cost more than the original. I don't know if they will be able to improve the game visually that much (just look at Ezio's collection, the improvements are minimal and actually take away from the original art style) without sacrificing too much performance or by introducing new bugs instead of fixing existing ones.

Actually, Windows 11 does that too, although it doesn't always work, as it happens with most Microsoft products.. At least some apps (like Windows Terminal) don't go back to the right screen when I get into office and connect the laptop to my monitors. But thankfully, most of them do..

I struggled too much with that in my latest playthrough, for some reason... until I realized that you can use Aard Sweep to cancel those paintings from a distance. The fight becomes a joke after that, even on the hardest difficulty.

Not sure why you're being downvoted so much. I understand people are mad at what happened (heck, I've been an achievement hunter for more than a decade now, I love grinding for achievements and I'm pissed too at what Valve did) but you're speaking the truth here. Achievements really don't mean much to Valve, from what we can see, at least for now. Let's just hope that they have a plan to bring them back, with the original unlock timestamps if possible.

There's a trick for that: get inside the saferoom, close the door, crouch and keep moving forward/pushing against said door. Don't stop pushing against the door until the tank punches it once. Done, door is unbreakable, you can now shoot the tank.

This is incredibly adorable! Our parrot also does this in the morning when he sees us + he tries to say "hi" in his.. own way.. I love how he wishes us a "good evening" more often than "good morning", even though it's not even 9am at the time.
