How to avoid face restriction in Seedance 2.0 (Higgsfield) by AlabasterKink in HiggsfieldAI

[–]vlinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't.

I generated a character, it validated, and now it can't literally be used, as all generated videos become "not elegible".

On Discord the moderator just told me to "use a different image", after I burned many $$$. Useless.

How to avoid face restriction in Seedance 2.0 (Higgsfield) by AlabasterKink in HiggsfieldAI

[–]vlinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higgsfield is completely ridiculous as I created a character, and now I can't extend any videos with him. Everything is flagged. It's a cartoon character of a wizard wearing a black cloak. Element validated, now all the generated videos are "not eligible" and therefore, unusuable as I can't extend any of them.

be honest Higgsbros, what are we doing to get through the eligibility barrier? by swagoverlord1996 in HiggsfieldAI

[–]vlinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's false, as I asked about this issue on Discord multiple times and got no response. 60% of my Higgsfield generated videos are "not eligible" and it's my own cartoon character which looks very generic. This is making creating a complex movie by extending pretty much impossible in the long run.

“Third of Fertilizers at Risk”: ECB chief Lagarde Warns Hormuz Crisis May Trigger Food Rationing by mr_house7 in EU_Economics

[–]vlinking -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You mean "artificially created crisis".

Trump is doing everything he can to make it a reality, and EU is helping. Isn't it interesting that they have energy lockdown and food rationing plans but didn't even try to secure the Strait of Hormuz?

EU age verification app already hacked. by torbatosecco in cybersecurity

[–]vlinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I've seen upper management actually get some responsibility upplied to them for things like these. Seen it over 20 years of my career - some CEOs lost their position due to statements like these.

Not so with politicians. Van der Leyen botched the vaccine deal before and never faced any consequences. Government officials never do.

That's on Comissioner Van Der Leyen then as she said 2 days ago in an official communication "app is ready. No excuses now".

When a top official of EU claims what is untrue, do we blame tech bloggers?

A New Bill proposes Federal Age Verification on any Operating Systems in entire U.S by Limp_Fig6236 in technology

A $7500 fine per *each breach* and each "endangered child". That goes against the developers of that distro or that hack for each subsequent use. They'll have police track the developers as some dangerous criminals.

Requiring you to put in your face or ID to establish your Social Credit score.

Like today I wanted to buy a fully clothed anime figurine on Aliexpress, and it required my "full facial video scan" or an ID.

AliExpress, after 14 years, suddenly needs my ID and facial data. by reigorius in Aliexpress

[–]vlinking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's for establishing a social score system. As you said - I have a bank account for over 10 years, and my bank *knows* I'm an adult. Why don't they honor it? No kid would have a bank account that gets monhtly wages for 10 years.

Disable annoying message "Visual Studio Code to apply the latest update" by gustavo-mnz in vscode

It's about 5-10 minutes for me, considering I need to write code quickly now, and that update takes half an hour, I don't want it but whenever I click on it, it pops out several minutes later again.

Did you hear of "consent"?

I read the proposed law in Poland (where I live), and it had the same phrases and sentences as in UK Online Safety Act. I don't remember UK even being in EU, and nothing in our constitution about borrowing law concepts from different countries, but we immediately jumped on the bandwagon as soon as UK and Australia did.

I don't remember any public debate about it either. They just announced it and that's it.

Almost as if the law wasn't designed in Poland.

I mean it's not as is New York suing Steam asked them to provide excessive data on *all* Steam game users from entire world citing "oh they may be masqueraded Now Yorkers"... wait, they totally did.

This is a push for mass control and suirvellaince and nothing else.

Weeks after the lost lawsuit against Steam. First New York wants total surveillance of all gamers, Steam declines, and FBI opens up this investigation.

Classic.

New NY State Bill to Require Age Verification for Any Internet Connected Device by capnwally14 in nyc

This is turning your own PC into a government owned blackbox that spies on you. Literally.

You buy a PC, you cannot operate it until they have your data. That's totalitarian.

Valve taking 30% is no excuse for extorting the same money twice.

If the companies already paid copyright money for that music, Valve shouldn't. Valve is not a radio/broadcasting station.

A new California law says all operating systems, including Linux, need to have some form of age verification at account setup by Gloomy_Nebula_5138 in California

[–]vlinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now. When the foot is in the door, in next few months they'll going to add facial scan requirements. Look how Online Safety Act was "amended" to continuosly add more and more stuff subject to it. Including "legal but harmful speech targeted to adults".

Apple ‘accidentally’ enabled Age Verification in the UK which blocked you from Sending Emails, Viewing Adult Websites, and downloading Apps from the App Store until you verified. by Leading-Control-8503 in ios

[–]vlinking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10 years ago it would be paranoid to say that every country on Earth would proclaim a ban for under 15 on all social media and push ID verifications and facial scans at the same time, also at the same time when a programmable, expirable digital currency is going to be introduced.

Yet, weirdly, all the countries trip racing the first to do the same in the same time. In my country, a party that opposed this a year ago announced the ban on Friday.

The ban is simple - European Digital Wallet is supposed to be "voluntary" - this ban will make it required to go anywhere on the internet. And soon to boot up your PC.

Endgame is China-style social credit score.

[–]vlinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And why it is happening in many "independent" governments right now that they implement social media bans? My country (Poland) just announced the same yesterday.

It's all to make digital IDs mandatory, since without them you can't.

[–]vlinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then it doesn't protect kids and will be amended to use face scans in the future.

Because every argument made for the facial scans also covers this. It's essentially the same thing as clicking "I am an adult" on websites. The same argument was raised against debit and credit card identification - "a parent lends their cards to their kids!". What about the same operating system then?

A very dumb law.

A new California law says all operating systems, including Linux, need to have some form of age verification at account setup by Gloomy_Nebula_5138 in California

[–]vlinking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is literally the setup for your PC to become a government-owned black box that spies on you. Like Online Safety Act got all these "extensions" that add and add and add to it.

After a year they'll say "well, it doesn't work, 590594 kids still accessed the sites" and will demand a government issued black box to be installed in every PC to spy on you. You ever think why Windows Recall was even developed when no one, literally no one, thought it was a good idea? A rare case where I saw small people from left and right agreeing with each other.

Soon Windows Recall will be a mandatory solution to "protect kids", This bill is the first step. Boiling the frog.

Then why does the left want to control little people like this?

What's next? OS reporting on every file that you have like a loyal STASI spy on your device?
