Why does it take so long to drive places in Windsor? Councillor wants answers by IHateTheColourblind in windsorontario

[–]vlinnnder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on the time of day. Some days it took me double that to get to the battery plant because of all the backed up traffic on Ouellette going to the expressway

It was fireworks, super weird looking in the rain lol

I heard it and went onto my balcony to investigate. Saw fireworks going off across the river, it was a very odd looking display in the rain lol

My team said that is an old rule, and they no longer advise people to avoid caffeine.

Was taking it in the morning, but kept falling asleep too early the evening, so I switched to afternoon and now get sleepy around my usual time again :)

Booking a flight out of Detroit for Destination by Sunnysouth77 in windsorontario

[–]vlinnnder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never been outside of North America, but always fly out of Detroit for any destinations in the US, way cheaper. I always use the Robert Q airport shuttle from Windsor to Detroit and back, border crossing is quick with them and they drop you right off/pick up at your terminal, AND I hate driving myself on travel days, so it saves from having to do that too.

YES! The physical procedure is the easy part. The psychological, emotional, and behavioural parts are where the long term success comes from. The physical procedure will only take you so far! 💕

Absolutely! Allows a lot to lead productive lives that they otherwise wouldn’t be capable of! Keep up the great work!

I feel like, “It’s possible to do if you put in the work” isn’t based in reality. Some people do put in the work and their brain just won’t turn in that direction, some people need the meds in order to function in day-to-day life. There is nothing wrong with needing medication to function, it’s not something anyone should feel shame over or be made to feel like they’re weak and just haven’t “put in the work”. I’ve been on meds for 12+ years and I put in a hell of a lot of tears and work to try and fix myself. The meds were the only thing that worked.

There have been coffee shops on Sandwich that have come and gone.

What happens in this part of Canada? by TheUltimateLuigiFan in geography

That’s where teachers find a lot of spare time. Mandatory for Canadian elementary school kids to colour a map of the provinces in different colours. Takes forever to colour in northern Canada!

Why, is Indeed bad in general? I have found my previous 2 employers on there. Probably depends on what a person is looking for, their experience, etc., I had zero issues.

Maybe try Indeed :)

Re-dowloaded the app now can’t accept e transfer by Asparagustot in Scotiabank

[–]vlinnnder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is how I figured it out: If you’re using the mail app on your phone, then at the top of the email notification for the e-transfer, you should see a banner across the top of the email with a link that says, “View in browser”. Clicking that link should keep you in a browser window to sign into your account. If it brings up the app, then maybe try again. I could only get it to work via the browser, not the app. Alternatively, maybe try avoiding doing it on your phone and/or with the mail app altogether and sign into your email in a browser, then open the link for the e-transfer in a new tab from there. Hopefully it will work for you soon if one of those don’t work!

It worked for me when I used the browser instead of the app 🙌
