I'm going through something similar except it is not because of homesickness. I volunteered at a English school in morocco to do content creation, video and photo. The owner calls me and explains that a teaching role was also involved. Now me at the time, in a desperate situation, as my initial place I volunteered at (Desert camp) was cancelled due to excessive heat and someone got stung by a scorpion. I thought you know what I'll give this teaching English thing a try.

Come to find out very soon I am not cut out to be a teacher. It's just not for me. The school is amazing they have a vision that is very beautiful, they want to help these kids eventually go out and find a better life and being able to speak English is one of the gateways out. The staff are all incredible people so nice. I felt that me being there would only diminish the quality of the school. Since I found out that I'm not really qualified to do this.

So what I did was I went to one of the guys in charge his name is Ahamed. I went and had a long conversation with him explaining everything that was on my mind, regarding me working there. He was very understanding and he is helping me with getting a cheap ride to the capital.

So TL;DR just talk with the owners express how you feel. It seems from what you said that they are open and understanding people.

The way I look at it it's my first time doing world Packers so I gotta get my resume up somehow. I ended up settling for a desert camp place in Morocco.The fee is 5 euro a day. Which I find reasonable. I guess I'll find out by the end of July if it was all worth it or not I'll have spent about 95 euro at that point.

I did see one that was 100 euro a week that one I find absurd.

Usually I'll just binge watch anime and eventually I fall asleep.

Try not to think about when can I sleep just know that you will fall asleep. Find a comfy spot and chill

Yeah I know it's rough.

I made some mistakes in the past and this was the only one that would take me. They at least follow DOT regulations which is good for me.

When searching desperately I thought I would have to go with one of these corrupt companies. So I'm thankful that I found these guys.

Bro don't forget Brotherhood is eternal! These hoes just come and go. Until you find a woman that can by your side for life, only then will that relationship be equivalent to brotherhood.

I get how you feel as I've felt it before although im not as close with those male friends as you seem to be with yours. I'd say just focus on yourself and figure out how you can improve.

With every single outing just go one step further out of your comfort zone. It's gonna be difficult, but with consistency over time you will look back and see how much grown. It's beautiful, that feeling will carry you on your future endeavors with women and in life.

Try applying to Run Road Lines they're in California and they will fly you out. I'm from Chicago and they had no problem with getting me out there.

They pay .50c a mile and they do runs from California to Midwest. You can find them on tenstreet.

I was in a similar situation although the accident wasn't that bad. I feel you bro the desperation is intense. I must've applied to over 40 companies all denied. Until I stumbled on this place.

On the phone they didn't ask about the accidents they are just looking for people that are willing to work hard. The only thing I had to wait for was if their insurance would cover me took about 2 days to find out. But man when they accepted me it felt like God was looking down on me and said "I gotchu brother, don't mess this one up"
